The foundation of any training program is basic obedience skills, your dog must have a solid foundation before he/she can begin work in protection training or service training. All dogs can participate in obedience dog training and confidence building when the training is done correctly and most important consistently.

Throughout any of our training programs you will learn to better understand your dog, feel protected, as well as comfortable leaving your family, home, and valuables under the protection of your dog.

 

APEX GSD provides service dog training to help with the specific needs of his/her handler. The dog, handler, and  the handler’s family or support group are often trained to work together to help overcome the specific day-to-day challenges faced by the handler. Service dog training includes teaching the dog how to behave appropriately in every type of public setting they may encounter, including cars, elevators, public transportation, restaurants,other dogs and distractions. APEX GSD training provides concrete and proven methods to prepare the service dog and the handler to pass a public access test.
